Honestly,i woke up late on that day =P (paper 1 english was supposed to start at 8am ) I rushed to school and reached only at 8:45 !!!! ( shocking ? ) well , here’s my FIRST BLESSING –> Cambridge allowed me to take the English paper ! ( usually they will bar you from taking it if u are 30+mins late for your exam,i’m so blessed ) NOT ONLY THAT , SECOND BLESSING —> i managed to finish the english paper !!! (usually takes me forever =P ) ( was praying to God to “stop time” or “slow time” on the 10mins rush to school , but sadly it didn’t happen , BUT still a blessing )

Praise God ! i really couldn’t have done it without HIM !!! there’s more to that , and all i can say is THANK GOD THAT I HAVE GOD IN ME !!! =) Thanks to his Grace , i believe i can score well for my english paper and social studies ‘N’ level which are already over =)

oh , PS:social studies was the day before english , after  the paper i was really panicing cuz i don’t think i did well , but i sang a Praise to him haha ( KS and Reb can testify , they heard me , lol ! ) so yeah,moral of the story ( not too sure what it is ) “with God i can do anything” ? “don’t be late for exam” ? “God is awesome in my life” ? well there’s alot…figure out urself =) God appeared to him when i needed him most ( i think its when i was late for a major exam ) and he Blessed me BIG TIME =) HE CAN DO THE SAME FOR YOU !!!!!!

on 6/8, which was the first day of prelim, i was very afraid that i would not do well. therefore, i prayed to God for giving me wisdom to understand the concepts and chapters. i prayed every day till prelim was over. Even though i had been shepherding my sheep during prelim period, and attended CGs and services, but i was sure that i would get good results. however, my first thought was that i have placed God first in my life. and with Him, i believe i will be rewarded as long as i place Him first and of cause do His work.

on monday (18/8), i received my results. and God have really blessed me alot. i did quite well for my prelims where i got 1 for combine science, amaths and emaths (N level syllabus) and 1 for combine humanities. as for my english and chinese, i get 5. i tend to fail both frequently. because of God’s grace, i passed. without Him, i would not have done well in my prelims. therefor i want to remind everyone that we should always place God first, others followed by ourselves. and also be a salt and light in school to glorify God. doesn’t mean having more time to study means will do better.

secondly, i also want to share about a breakthrough in my life. i used to depend on others especially my shepherd alot where i will outreach when she’s there and also depend on her alot. ever since the restructuring , where people are being plucked out to pioneer in a school, i depended on God much more than depending on her. that is when i saw myself growing spiritually much more. in a way that i depend on God more till today. i have also grow more in perseverance as only when we persevere, we will be able to see the results. for me, the breakthrough in perseverance was that even though people around me was discouraging me from serving God, i carry on and never gave up. for example, there was once when examination was reaching, my friends asked me stop doing things for God. but i persevered on and do god’s work. other than that, they were cursing me that i would not do well for my prelims. but i persevered on. i have steped out of my comfort zone. whenever we are in our comfort zone, we will not even grow. therefore, the end point is to complete woodlands and be the finisher of God and CG08! from taht you will have your own spiritual breakthrough so that you will grow even more.

i got a blessing i want to share! it’s quite rare you know(: on monday had chinese paper part a. it went quite well. then on 7 aug i think is part b. but on that day, teacher told us that part b is canceled as they feel that part a is enough for us already. so when the other levels and sec 2 normal chinese took part b, we didnt take it! we are saved hahaha. cause it’s likely to pull down my marks. thank God!

Anyway, its about how God actually work in both my sheep’s and my life. (:

Last saturday after service had shepherd’s meet and all that. It all ended quite late and thus when i reached home was expectedly scolded. That wasnt so bad at that time, cause my mom just nagged.

The 1st horrible thing was that when i woke up on sunday morning, i received an sms from my sheep.

“I cant go leh, cause my mom ask me dont mess around too much with church unless its a catholic church.”

My first reaction, “WHAT?!” I was quite stunned for a moment. I didnt reply her sms, cause i didnt know what to reply.

Then the 2nd horrible thing happened, my mom started scolding me ( this time was quite bad lah) what “everytime ask you go out with me you dont want go, then everytime your friend ask you to go out you straight away rush out already. Don’t know you every saturday go out is go where one.” And she started saying I’m useless and all that lah, only know how to go out, go out.

I remembered at that moment i went back into my room and i teared. Yes, i did. Haha.

I remembered telling God stuff like “Why God? You just made me a shepherd, you just made me in charge of someone’s life. And i really thought I genuinely loved my current sheep alot. And she CANT missed out on your love or just throw away her salvation just like that! “

Then i continued praying for myself, ” Ahh, God make my mum stopped scolding me and making me feel so literally useless. Its not that I’m hanging out with bad company or what. You know that it’s cause I’ve been attending church, and going for church related events. I’m not doing anything bad! “

And i also remembered I keep on repeating this phrase, “God make a way , God make a way…..” I was actually pretty desperate at that time lah. Haha.

Then God spoked to me, “Come on my child, give me your hand and trust in me.” (:

Haha, i think i should just fastforward……………

Anyway, I messaged back my sheep stuff like i wanted to meet her on monday morning to personally talk to her. The i told dk about it and he provided me with alot of help too.

On monday morning, my sheep told me she still wanted to stay on and all that despite whatever happens.

And i was really happy lah, I mean God certainly answered my prayer. And my relationship with my mom is back to normal also. (: I know my mom also didnt really mean that when she said things that kind of hurt me.

Summarising, our walk with God is not a bed of roses. Perhaps we may even face more problems than non-believers. However, we have a BIG GOD out there to back us up and support us. Amen? We will face so much more objections and oppositions when you are in christ, however when you have made that decision to serve him, you must be prepared to face all that. Facing all these only helps you to grow so much more in him and its only through problems that you are able to exprerience God so much more when you seek him and ask for his strength, wisdom, comfort, help etc etc….

Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. James 1:12

Or how about,

Never will i leave you, never will i forsake you. Hebrews 13:5

This is what God, our heavenly father promised us in the bible.

i believe God will bless me with visitors next saturday which is CLIQUE part 2 i believe there will be an influx for NorthB next saturday !! D &i have faith that God will soften the contacts from my pioneering schools which are woodlands & siling & that they will agree to come on saturday. & i believe that they won’t pangseh. because we must have the FAITH things will be possible with God. we shall not be discouraged by our visitors/ contacts when they pangseh us. however, we should be working harder then before !

God told me this ‘only when we did put in all our best, we will see the harvest coming !’ & i believe it will come ! NORTHB wont be still & wont give up. we will persevere on because everything is possible.

yesterday, i was not allowed to go out for service. even when i told my dad that i’m going out & he said i rather not go home, i just went to pack my stuffs & left my house for service. he told me to be home by 5pm. but i reached home at 9pm. when i reaching admiralty station, my brother called & said my dad is coming home. & he asked me to rush home.

waited at the busstop for quite long & no bus came. as zhejia was with me, we started praying that the bus will come. when we said AMEN, the bus came ! prayer works. God will be there in all circumstances. & God even bless me that i’m able to go for prayer meet on monday, wednesday & friday. although tuesday & thursday i cant make it, but i will do my very best to go as it concerns God. anything that concerns God means alot to me. i believe the whole of NORTHB felt & think the same

Tuesday- Day 2, God assured me of His plans for me.

All I have to do is just to follow and trust Him. I do not need to worry where will I be going after my tertiary education, I do not not need to worry where will I be 10yrs down the road, I do not need to worry how am I going to spend my entire life. All I have to do is pray, and ask God. I shall let Jesus take the wheel and entrust my life to Him.

Thursday- Day 4
As I’m praying, God should me something that we will use everyday- chopsticks. We need to walk closely with God everyday. Work hand in hand with God to get things done faster and easier. What’s the use of having chopsticks when it doesn’t come in one pair? !

Friday- Day 5
God drop a verse in my heart- John16: 33b.
“In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world”

We shall be the overcomers! We will make a difference in the school! We shall be the one who shine among the crowd! We shall have victories in our lives! Because our GOD had overcome the world.

i went and outreached to ppl ,

was very discouraging at frist cuz there was not alot of responsive ppl around

butt the weeeek after that was better .. although i reached later than planned

i stiill managed to get contacts this time responsive ones…OH,i was really praying to God to help me

AND he did !! i was also very encouraged when one of my friends whom i outreached and replied to me said that he feel just like we are frens !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that really encouraged me and i am really glad Ming Xiang & Christin(i think thats how to spell her name) came for service today and recieved Jesus !

i mean , i only managed to meet them at 10:30 for breakfast b4 service , and they were totally COOL about the fast that i was bringing them to church !!!

Ming Xiang even wrote to me this “Thanks David, today was great, fancy meeting so many people, going to a church for the first time and which is totally different from what i thought, thank you, Hope we could hang out more ! “.

on friday riverside people met up to outreach together cause we finally had a day where we’re all released together. as in same timing. i was suppose to go home straight after school cause my mum wasn’t really happy with me always staying out late. so i prayed and yay! my mum told me to go library after school instead cause they were building the lift and putting the cement all and it was really dusty! cant go home cause im allergic to dust. yay guess it’s a blessingxD

then we went to outreach and i believe that God really blessed me a lot a lot cause usually it’s really hard for me to get contacts cause people run away when they see me. i wonder why. He blessed the whole group too and we got around 60 contacts in just 2 hours!
